Pets in need of a loving home We need YOUR paws to help these dogs and cats! ELI 
“Eli” is 1 ˝ year old German Shepherd mix. He lived with a wonderful family who loved him and took good care of him. Unfortunately, the family situation has changed. Due to the owner’s illness Eli needs a new home. Currently, he is enjoying himself at her foster home at Doggie Minder, a crate-free dog daycare and boarding facility in Whitby, Ontario, Canada (just East of Toronto). Eli has a lot of energy and needs to be with someone who can spend time with him and provide him with an active lifestyle together or can afford a dog walker or doggie daycare a couple of times a week. Eli needs to go to a family that already has a social dog so he doesn’t develop separation anxiety when left alone during the day, as the previous owner worked from home. It would be an asset if the new owner has had experience with an active breed before. Eli is neutered. He has been on a raw diet since in the care of Doggie Minder and we are looking for a home that will continue feeding him raw to give him the best chance of a quality life. We can recommend reasonably priced meat sources in the Durham Region. Feeding raw is NOT more work pouring kibble. It costs only about $50 per month to feed Eli a raw diet ~ that is cheaper than high-end kibble food. Adoption fee for Eli is $200, which will be spent on food & supplies for our foster pets.
